Trivia Night
The annual Launceston Cricket Club trivia night will be held on Saturday 4th February at 7pm at the NTCA Complex. The night includes some interesting and challenging trivia question, games and prizes. The night is always a lot of fun. Cost is $10 with nibbles provided. 2011-12 Season Launch
More than 50 people recently attended the season launch at Cube Aqua. Guests were treated with cocktail food during the evening while being welcomed to the new season by President Gavin Selby. Representatives from sponsors St. Lukes Health, The Royal Oak, JBC Sportspower and KPMG were in attendance, with St. Lukes' Colleen McGann and The Royal Oak's Bruce Potter addressing the crowd. Guests were then introduced to the coaching staff and captains for the season. Ross Tulich won the Spotter's Whopper competition and James Kingston won the meat raffle. Formalities were completed with a slideshow of the pre-season camp. The launch received good reviews from attendees and the club will look to build on it again next season.
