The Kookaburra Cup

The Statewide one day competition is known as the Kookaburra cup. The two finalists from the Greater Northern Cup earn the right to play against the two top sides from the TCA in knockout semi finals. The winners of the semis ultimately face off in the final with the winner crowned state one-day champions. The Lions have only ever won 2 Kookaburra cups, the most famous in 1991-92 when the Lions defeated Clarence at Bellerive.
